Accessibility statement for medication-info.com

Dasonele a.s., which runs this website, wants everyone to be able to use medication-info.com, including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard or larger text. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which is also the standard most often used to assess websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Compliance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The limitations are listed below.

What is not accessible yet

  • The texts of the patient information and package inserts. We take them from the labeling published in DailyMed and convert them into web pages automatically. Their headings, lists and tables may therefore not have the right structure for screen readers.
  • Third-party advertisements (Google AdSense) - we cannot control their content or how they work.
  • Websites we link to, for example those of the FDA and the NLM. Links to them open in a new window without a special warning.

What we do for accessibility

  • The whole website can be used with a keyboard, the focused element is highlighted and the first Tab key press offers a link that skips to the content.
  • The text follows the size set in your browser, can be zoomed to 200% and also fits a screen 320 pixels wide.
  • If you have turned off animations in your system, the page does not scroll smoothly either.

Feedback and contact information

Is there something you cannot read or use? Email us at info@medication-info.com with the address of the page and what did not work. We will reply and try to fix the problem, or send you the content in another format.
