Where the texts come from
The patient information (including Medication Guides) and the prescribing information, commonly called the package insert, are the drug labeling texts that manufacturers submit to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and that are published in DailyMed, the drug labeling database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). We credit DailyMed as the source, as the NLM asks. A page with such a text names the source and the date the label was last revised.
We do not change, shorten, translate or rewrite the texts.
